Port container crane operator • Blackburn with Darwen, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Blackburn with Darwen, England. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals Full-time, day shift.
