Garden maintenance worker — Stanley County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Stanley County, South Dakota. The job is at a private estate garden. Day-to-day duties: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
