Counterbalance forklift operator — Shetland Islands

Join our team: we are hiring a counterbalance forklift operator in Shetland Islands, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Transport raw materials and finished goods between bays • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers You should have: • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required • Accurate, careful stock handling At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £2,550 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
