Formwork carpenter wanted in Suffolk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Suffolk County, New York. Day to day you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 1+ years on the tools preferred.
