Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial painter in Taylor County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator On the job you will handle: • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
