Panel welder — Neath Port Talbot

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Part-time with flexible hours.
