Immediate opening: roofing technician (South Dakota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing technician in Tripp County, South Dakota. You will work on residential new-build sites. On a typical shift you will erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights. Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
