Pipe tig welder wanted in Adair County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Adair County, Kentucky. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Six days a week, one day off.
