Now hiring: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Buchanan County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests The role involves recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
