Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed.
