Tig welder — Hickman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Hickman County, Kentucky. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
