We are recruiting: steam press operator (Pennsylvania)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 4+ years on the tools preferred.
