Port container crane operator wanted in Contra Costa County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Contra Costa County, California. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
