Rebar fixer wanted in Leelanau County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Leelanau County, Michigan. Day to day you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
