Immediate opening: we are hiring a dough maker in Essex County, Massachusetts. You will work at a cake shop. Day-to-day duties: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
