Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Rotating shifts.
