Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Jasper County, South Carolina. You will work in a meat processing plant. The role involves: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
