Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lake County, California. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
