Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Rappahannock County, Virginia. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
