Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Platte County, Nebraska. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. Your main tasks: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
