Concrete placer • LaGrange County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in LaGrange County, Indiana. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Your main tasks: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab We offer $250 per day plus benefits.
