Argon welder — Ogori/Magongo

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Ogori/Magongo, Kogi State. You will work on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
