Immediate opening: refrigeration and AC mechanic (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Your main tasks: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil Requirements: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
