Sheet metal press operator — Umuahia North

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Umuahia North, Abia State. Day to day you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
