Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Iowa County, Iowa. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
