Metal caster — Stockton-on-Tees

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Stockton-on-Tees, England. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £2,150 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
