Now hiring: gtaw welder (Arkansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Cleburne County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
