Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio You will break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer.
