Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel painter in Gunnison County, Colorado. The job is at a dealership paint shop. Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand You will apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust.
