Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Craig County, Oklahoma. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
