Escalator technician • Macon County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an escalator technician in Macon County, Georgia. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
