Great opportunity: AC mechanic (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Perry County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks Ideal candidate: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Presentable and polite with customers on site • Can read electrical and piping schematics Six days a week, one day off. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
