MIG/MAG welder — Starke County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Starke County, Indiana. The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
