Stitching operator wanted in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
