Join our team: we are hiring a production machine operator in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings The role involves follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
