Gas commissioning technician wanted in Dakota County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Dakota County, Minnesota. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
