Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Your main tasks: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
