Immediate opening: dumper truck operator (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in South Tyneside, England. You will be based at a plant hire yard. The role involves: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
