Natural gas fitter wanted in Clark County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Clark County, Indiana. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Your main tasks: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
