Banksman • Akpabuyo, Cross River State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Akpabuyo, Cross River State. The job is at a container port. On a typical shift you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles ₦11,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
