Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Sac County, Iowa. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; refuel the machine and record running hours; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $170 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
