What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
