Immediate opening: refrigeration technician (Hawaii)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Kauai County, Hawaii. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Your main tasks: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight You should have: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
