Restoration bricklayer — Akuku Toru

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Akuku Toru, Rivers State. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Rotating shifts.
