Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Tift County, Georgia. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Full-time with occasional weekends.
