Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Decatur County, Iowa. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
