Flatlock machine operator • Winnebago County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 5+ years on the tools preferred.
