Sheet metal welder wanted in Broome County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Broome County, New York. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Full-time, day shift. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
