Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Rock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Rock County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day to day you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
