Garment presser — Zapata County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Zapata County, Texas. You will be based at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings You will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
